Work Experience
Staff Management:
- Procurement of all work including preparation of ROEI, RFT and RFQ submissions.
- Responsible for all work within the civil and environmental teams.

Contract Administration:

- Processing of all claims, variations and extensions.
- Local Authorities and Utility Service Provider Projects for New Works, Renewal and Augmentation Projects (Parks infrastructure, stormwater and watermain projects) with individual Contract Values in excess of $3M.

- The level of construction monitoring carried out has generally been to level CM2 and CM3 as described in the ACENZ Construction Monitoring Guidelines.
Engineering Design and Calculations:
- Geometric and structural design of new roads and road upgrading including District Arterial roads.
- Bulk Earthworks.
- Parks infrastructure (walkways, pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, carparks & other facilities).
- Utility services including stormwater, wastewater drainage and water supply reticulation.
- Stormwater catchment analysis, flooding and overland flows, investigations, assessments and reporting.
- Stormwater and wastewater pumping stations.
- Stormwater treatment and attenuation. Hydrological neutrality design and reporting.
- Stormwater soakage systems (shallow and deepbore soakage).
- Cleanfill projects.
- Domestic onsite wastewater disposal systems of up to 4.6 m3 daily discharge to a land disposal field.
- Land development investigation, assessment and reporting to the private sector.
Consent Preparation:
- Resource Consent Applications at Regional Authority and Local Authority level.
- Earthworks and Sediment Control.
- Stormwater Discharge, Works in a Watercourse, Steam Diversion.
- Works Within and Occupation of the Coastal Management Area.
- Trade Waste Discharge.
- Land Modification and Subdivision resource Consent for Land Development.
- Assessments of Environmental Effects.
Consultation/Negotiation:
- Liaison with Regional and Territorial Local Authority officers.
- Liaison with Utility Network Suppliers.
