Ian has developed considerable skills in cadastral, land,engineering and construction surveying,
together with experience in Resource Management, particularly Resource Consent compliance and associated legislation.
This experience has accumulated over three terms of employment with CLC Consulting Group Limited at increasing levels of seniority, together with staff and management roles within two local authorities.
Ever increasing changes in technology has been embraced by Ian's willingness to explore creative methods of survey to achieve desirable results over a number of varied projects. Ian has specific
skills in cadastral surveying, topographical data collection, building construction setout , resource
consent processes, contract administration and management,construction design and monitoring, and survey definition problem solving. This also included assistance with the cadastral tie in and standard offsetting during the early 1980s.
The projects Ian has previously been involved in include ten-storey building construction setouts,
civil & land development engineering survey setting out and building,cadastral and legalisation
surveys, small Greenfield concept designs for lot, services and roading layout, resource consent
assessment and formulating and determination of resource consent compliance and preparation of associated legal documentation.
Ian also has a broad understanding of other land development related professions and industries.
