Civil Engineer (Intermediate to Senior Level)

We are currently recruiting a Civil Engineer (Intermediate to Senior level) to join our Auckland based team.

The successful applicant will be working in our Land Development and Infrastructure Team which already holds a great breadth of knowledge and experience which you can use to advance your professional development. 

We are looking for someone who is client-focused and enjoys working on end-to-end engineering projects from the initial concept design stage right through to construction. Your position will include, but is not limited to:

·         Preparing civil engineering designs for stormwater, wastewater, water, earthworks and roading

·         Undertaking catchment analysis and flood modelling

·         Stormwater mitigation and treatment design

·         Meeting with clients & understanding their requirements to provide exemplary design solutions

·         NZS3910 Contract Administration

·         Construction monitoring

Capable of working independently, you should also be able to communicate internally with the project team, and liaise externally with clients and stakeholders.

You will hold a tertiary Civil Engineering qualification along with relevant New Zealand design code and regulation experience. You should be a competent user of 12D Modelling and AutoCAD, as well as the MSOffice suite.

A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience within a Civil Engineering consultancy in NZ is essential.  You must be legally entitled to work in NZ and hold a full, clean NZ Drivers Licence.

Graduate Planner

We are looking for a Full-Time Graduate Planner to join our Resource Management team located in East Auckland.

To be considered for the role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • A NZ Tertiary qualification in Planning or similar
  • Have completed work experience or an internship within New Zealand industry
  • Be a Member (or eligible for membership) of the NZPI
  • Have a firm understanding of the construction process and how projects can be planned to achieve better environmental outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

Your workload will be diverse; you’ll be encouraged to use your initiative, demonstrate problem solving skills and take responsibility for your projects. In return, CLC will offer you a collaborative and supportive working environment, providing you with fixed weekly mentoring to help advance your Planning career. Senior Planner

We are currently involved with a large number of infrastructure and community facilities renewal projects for Auckland Council, as well as a varied range of residential and commercial developments across Auckland, Whangarei, Christchurch & Queenstown to name a few.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Intermediate or Senior level Planner to join our Resource Management team located in East Auckland.

To be considered for the role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • At least 2-3 years of planning experience working within New Zealand industry
  • Be a Member (or eligible for membership) of the NZPI with demonstrated CPD
  • Have a firm understanding of the construction process and how projects can be planned to achieve better environmental outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
