Intermediate Structural Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Intermediate Structural Engineer to manage their own projects within a supportive, diverse and inclusive team environment.

You will need clear and confident communication skills to liaise internally with the wider CLC team, and externally with clients. You must possess a thirst for knowledge and a positive, can-do attitude. You will also enjoy problem solving and collaborating in a team environment. The ability to display sound technical skills and have high attention to detail is paramount. 

You will possess a Bachelor of Engineering tertiary qualification, and preferably have at least 4 years of New Zealand industry/consultancy experience. An understanding of NZS3604, NZS1170, NZS3404, NZS3101 and NZBC is required.

You must be legally entitled to work in NZ and hold a full, clean NZ Driver’s License.

Intermediate Level Planner

With over 50 years in business, CLC Consulting Group Ltd provide Civil, Environmental and Structural Engineering; Land Surveying, and Resource Management Planning Consultancy services.

We are currently involved with a large number of infrastructure and community facilities renewal projects for Auckland Council, as well as a varied range of residential and commercial developments across Auckland, Whangarei, Christchurch & Queenstown to name a few.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Intermediate level Planner to join our Resource Management team located in East Auckland.

To be considered for the role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • An NZ Tertiary qualification in Planning or similar
  • At least 2-3 years of planning experience working within New Zealand industry
  • Be a Member (or eligible for membership) of the NZPI with demonstrated CPD
  • Have a firm understanding of the construction process and how projects can be planned to achieve better environmental outcomesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team

 Your workload will be diverse; you’ll be encouraged to use your initiative, demonstrate problem solving skills and take responsibility for your projects. In return, CLC will offer you a collaborative and supportive working environment, provide mentoring and help advance your Planning career.
